"Le pont des arts"
One day, I was asked “Why don’t you paint a romantic canvas?”…
After reflecting about it, I decided to face this challenge.
To make up this story, I wanted to represent a very mythical place, where thousands of couples made vows of eternal love… So I chose the “Pont des Arts”, in Paris.
As you know, those barriers that carried those love vows have been taken off because of excessive weight.
Therefore, this is a painting where I talk about love… a love that doesn’t lay in those locks, as in every happy story, but in the dance the couple chose to dance together…
"Heartbreak"
In this canvas, I wanted to express a feeling.
A feeling of profoud and intense pain, of total despair, of broken heart…
This is an image of how life appears to us when we feel completely broken inside, feeling powerless and overwhelmed in this reality, where everything loose sense…
"Soul"
I was invited to paint a canvas for a collective exhibition called: “Details”.
At first glance, a detail is something small and meaningless. However, there are details that carry a whole world.
The eyes, for instance… They say they are the soul mirrors…
